One of the most appalling reported acts of exploitative terrorism was perpetrated during last Sunday’s election in Iraq. Stymied by the Coalition and Iraqi security restrictions in place to reduce violence at the polls, the Iraqi “resistance” used a wheelchair bound child with Down’s Syndrome as a suicide bomber to murder Iraqis hoping to vote (hattip Free Will Blog via Chester):

The official, Falah al-Naqib, said a handicapped child was used to carry out one of more than three dozen suicide attacks on election day. "A handicapped child was used to carry out a suicide attack on a polling site," al-Naqib said. "This is an indication of what horrific actions they are carrying out." Police at the scene of a Baghdad blast say the bomber appeared to have Down's Syndrome. It was one of 38 attacks Sunday at polling stations, which left more than 40 dead.

Children afflicted with Down’s Syndrome are perhaps the most kind, gentle and innocent beings on this earth. That militants should use them for such a purpose should come as no surprise. Islamists have a long history of using and encouraging women and children to acts of depravity.

Hamas, the Islamist terrorist group which is the Palestinian branch of the Islamic Brotherhood, the Palestinian Authority and other terrorists groups are renowned child exploiters. Abdel Aziz Rantisi, former leader of Hamas, was a pediatrician who approved of using Palestinian children as suicide bombers (except for his own children, of course). The Palestinian Popular Resistance Committee runs terrorist training camps for children (pictures can be viewed here). The Palestinian Authority sponsored a program called Children’s Place, using Sesame Street-like characters to promote Jihad. The PA institutionalizes terrorism in school curriculum, and commercials on government run television.

The Islamist terrorist culture encourages young women to become suicide bombers. It condones the “honor killings” of women accused of premarital sex, physical and mental abuse, slavery and female genital mutilation (euphemistically called female circumcisions).

Islamic websites celebrate the brutal murders of an American Christian family and foreigners in Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Children play-acting the beheading of Daniel Pearl are glorified. Entire television stations are dedicated to Islamist propaganda. Anti Semitism is rampant. Schools are attacked and students are slaughtered with little thought of the innocence of children.

This list of the Islamists’ atrocities is nowhere near complete; it is but a small sampling of their utter disregard for the sanctity of human life and their lack of compassion for the infirm and innocent. Children with Down’s Syndrome are given no special consideration by those that have no consideration for life; these special children are but tools to be discarded while slaughtering their infidel enemy.

Bill Moyers, in an article titled “There is no tomorrow”, sees the true enemy, and it is Christian conservatives, Israel, oil companies, the chemical industry, Republicans and the Bush administration. The enemy consists of this varied cabal that wishes to accelerate the world towards a religious and environmental Apocalypse. Islamist terrorist? Well, they are just useful pawns of this neo-conspiracy that are necessary to bring forth the Second Coming.

Islamists terrorists telegraph their hatred of anything civilized daily via their actions and words. When searching for enemies, perhaps Mr. Moyers need not look so hard.
